Your wedding photo and video team is your most important line item next to your venue. Your food comes next. If you can cater your own food or use a local favorite restaurant to cater, like mission barbeque, chipotle, olive garden or Carrabba’s. Save money by getting a less expensive cake or even donuts. Get a less expensive dress by going to a consignment store, etsy or other online retailers. Need more wedding planning advice! We would love to talk to you about having a photo consult! Day 12

Should I get real or artificial flowers for my wedding?

It all depends of if you want to invest in décor that you can keep for a long time and give as gifts to your wedding party guests or just throw out the flowers after a few days after the wedding.

I will have to say that taking care and arranging pick up and drop-off times for real flowers is always something to add to the schedule. Also, finding a place to refrigerate the flowers and keeping them looking nice throughout the entire (sometimes hot!) day might be a challenge. But with the right florists, you can definitely trust that everything will be done well! Also, looking for seasonal flowers like dahlias, gerbera daisies and other favorites are difficult to find year round and very expensive to keep hydrated. We would love to know what you think about artificial or real flowers!

Need a great florist for your wedding? We would love to recommend this company __________ We have worked with them on several occasions and would love for your to talk to them about making something magical for you! #weddingfloral #weddingflowers #weddings #florist #floralart #weddinglove #ourfavoriteflorist #rosesarered #weddingplanning #weddingplanningtips #flowersforwedding

Day 13

What should be my theme for my wedding? You can do everything from Harry Potter, Halloween, Valentines Day, Christmas, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and more. It all depends on your style, and how much energy and time that you have to pull it all together and what your budget range it. Need helping planning your dream wedding. Day 14

What kind of wedding hair should I have? Flowing curls might be on your list but having a wedding in the summer with full humidity might ruin them within an hour! You’ll be dancing the night away, so having a reception hair style fix or change of shoes and outfit might be the best decision of your night. Need a great wedding hair stylist? We recommend this local vendor _________ . Need to have a consult with them about your vision for your special day? #weddinghair #weddinghairstyles #weddingstyles #weddingreception #summerwedding #fallwedding #springwedding #hairstylist #updo #supportlocal

Day 15

Should I hire a wedding videographer?

YES! Having a wedding videographer where you can hear your vows and toasts is such a great reminder of your day. Try to book a photo and video team so that you can bundle pricing. If you can’t find a photo and video team, then find a video team that your favorite photographer recommends highly. You really need to make sure that your media team not only get along, but that they have great creative rhythm together- creating the best content for your day! Need more wedding planning advice! We would love to talk to you about having a photo and/or video consult! Day 16

What about drone video and photo? First of all, make sure that your venue can handle it- some are in NO FLY zones! Also, check your videographer’s current FAA license and insurance. The last thing you want to happen it for the drone to fall on a guest or get shut down by a local airport or military base! (believe me, it happens!) Need more wedding planning advice! Day 17

Who should come to come out to my wedding? Do I need to invite EVERYONE? Unless you have a large budget, try to only invite 20% of the people that you think you want to invite. Feeding, housing and commuting your guest list is the vast majority of your budget and can get pricey FAST. Focus your budget on a decent venue that you can have all your events and photos in ONE place (traveling throughout your wedding day to different spots is high risk and wastes time!) and decent photos and video! Need more wedding planning advice! We would love to talk to you about having a photo and/or video consult! Day 18

Let’s talk send-offs! What’s your favorite send off?

First of all- check with your venue on what they allow. Some still allow sparklers. But most have high restrictions on what is allowed. Also, check for the when you are sending off. If you are doing a day-time send off, then doing biodegradable confetti, bubbles, or pom-poms might be appropriate. If it’s at night, then doing a glow stick or fiber optic sparklers might be the best alternative.

Can’t pay for extended hours for your photo or video team? Do a earlier FAUX send off earlier in the day! Need more wedding planning advice!

We would love to talk to you about having a photo and/or video consult! Day 19

Let’s talk honeymoon! Want some money saving tips? First of all, have a honeymoon fund online and on your wedding website. Have a honeymoon box for tips and bills at the wedding. Register for a honey moon over pots and pans- believe me! You’ll think me later!

Go to all-inclusive places, like a Sandals or a Cruise. If tropical is not your thing, then getting a hotel at a place where you can cook your own food and go grocery shopping might be a great way to save money for adventures! #honeymoon #honeymoontips #wanderlust #adventureawaits #ouradventurebook #honeymoontips #weddingsavingtips #moneysavingtips #honeymooners #honemoons

Day 20

What kind of wedding dress should I get? First, decide on where you are getting married and how physical of a place that you are walking around in. For example, getting eloped in the mountains, it’s good factor to determine not spending a 10,000 on a dress. Maybe getting a pant suit would be more appropriate. If you are getting married at the beach, then having a LONG train, might not be the best option. If you are going to be dancing for your wedding, maybe having a shorter reception dress, might be your best option, #weddingdress #weddingdressideas #weddinginspo #weddinginspiration #weddingdressspiration #weddingplanning #elopement #weddingelopmenents #weddingadventures #destinationwedding
